Platform Plus
In addition to the selected productions Platform Plus presents a diverse and varied accompanying programme exclusively for all accredited participants of Tanzplattform Deutschland 2024.
In numerous panels and discursive formats, different perspectives of dance professionals from Germany and around the world will be examined and discussed. The focus will include discourses on access and privileges, the question of the need to improve conditions for dance professionals and the exchange of artistic work for and with a young audience, among others.
Some events of Plattform Plus are produced by the Dance Department of Theater Freiburg, others by external cooperation partners such as EDN – European Dance Development Network, Grand Luxe Network and explore dance. The Dachverband Tanz Deutschland presents the exhibition “Tanz erzählt: Tanzplattform Deutschland – Die ersten Jahre” in the foyer of Theater Freiburg and invites you to discussion rounds with various guests as part of the installation. With Morning Warmups and the big CLUB UNIQUE party, Tanznetz Freiburg offers opportunities to meet and get to know local dance professionals. You can also discover more about the Freiburg dance scene in an installation in the foyer of E-WERK Freiburg.
